Amanda Meyer
As a Motion Graphics major, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2004, and can honestly say that I have been putting my degree to good use ever since. I went on to work in promotion and broadcast design for HGTV in Knoxville TN, and got some incredible experience to start my career. When I needed a change of scenery, I found a position with Starz Entertainment in Colorado for their creative services department. When it was my turn to experience corporate layoff, I decided to find my own way, as a freelancer, and began Amanda Meyer Design & Motion. This gave me a whole new enjoyment and fresh start in what I had originally set out to do with my career. I worked with many different people and brands, and had never been happier. Fate, or luck or something great led me to contracting with Imagine Creative Studio. We were a small but mighty team of 4, and I started getting reacquainted with the video production side of things, instead of just motion graphics. Imagine Creative Studio was accquired by a digital advertising agency, Closed Loop based in Roseville, CA and I was given the opportunity to sign on with them full time. I’m currently art directing video productions with and award winning team at Closed Loop, and really enjoying every bit.
